Naperville Giants reliever Andrew Suarez said he loves to come into the game when the outcome is in jeopardy.

He certainly did a good job of impacting his team's outcomes this season, as he has been named the winner of the 2005 Reliever of the Year Award for the Sub League 2.

"There's no better feeling than running in from the bullpen with the game on the line and your heart pumping," Suarez said.

On the season, the Miami, Florida native had 2 saves in 39 relief appearances, 58 strikeouts in 54.2 innings and a record of 2 wins and 2 losses to go with his 1.65 ERA.

He received 13 first place votes out of a possible 16. Archie Corbin of the Naperville Giants finished second in voting, while Conrad Cardinal of the Delta Theta Phi Keggers finished third with 3 first place votes.
