 | Dave Duncan Chosen SL1's #1 Player Sunday, October 16th, 2005 Dave Duncan has been around ABBA Triple A enough to know a good hot streak when he sees one -- and he got to see one firsthand all year. For his standout run through the 2005 season, he's taking home the Most Valuable Player Award in the Sub League 1. The Manchester catcher put up a batting average of .252 with 11 doubles, no triples, 63 home runs and 115 RBIs. He received 16 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Buck Weaver of the Erie Seawolves finished second in voting, while Dick J Harley of the Augusta Green Jackets finished third.
