 | Hits Galore: James Drills 5 Hits Sunday, June 26th, 2005 Las Vegas Hairy Nuts left fielder Chris James really lit up the Maine Guides with a 5-hit barrage today at The Ballpark -- a performance that sparked the Hairy Nuts to a 4-2 triumph. He shrugged off the performance after the game, saying "sometimes the ball finds outfielders, today the ball found some holes." Chris James grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 4th, flied out in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 8th, singled in the 10th, singled in the 12th, singled in the 15th and flied out in the 17th. This year James is batting .341 with 14 hits, 3 home runs, 10 RBIs, 2 walks, .372 OBP and has scored 5 runs. |   |
