This promising rookie first baseman for Maine garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 21-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .714 (10-for-14) with 1 home run and 3 RBIs last week. Currently Briggs is batting .283 with 3 home runs and 36 RBIs. |   |
