 | Wiggins Rips Billings for 5 Hits Thursday, July 7th, 2005 Alan Wiggins was sizzling at the plate today. In a game played at Prairie Thunder Ballpark, the Harrisburg left fielder blistered the Billings Mustangs for 5 hits in 5 at-bats to pace his club to a 6-0 victory. "Wiggins was too tough to get out today," Mustangs skipper said in his postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Alan Wiggins doubled in the 1st, hit a two-run single in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th and doubled in the 9th. Wiggins is currently hitting at a .334 pace with 2 home runs and 27 RBIs. |   |
