 | Freiman Takes AA's Best Bat Award Monday, August 1st, 2005 Nate Freiman put together a good July to earn the ABBA 2A Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to Daytona officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The Tortugas first baseman posted a .409 batting average with 12 home runs, 51 RBIs and 25 runs scored. For the year Freiman is batting .305 with 115 hits and 16 home runs. He has scored 49 times and driven in 88. |   |
