 | Star of the Week Picked in AA Monday, August 15th, 2005 So far in his young career, Danny Heep has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the ABBA 2A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 22-year-old Billings Mustangs first baseman hit at a torrid .429 clip as he collected 12 hits in 28 at-bats, 2 home runs, 6 RBIs and 3 runs scored. For the year Heep is batting .260 with 12 home runs. |   |
