 | Oliver Sensational, 5-for-5 Tuesday, August 23rd, 2005 Down East Wood Ducks left fielder Bob Oliver went 5-for-5 today and paced Down East to a 17-4 victory over the Hartford Yard Goats at Palmetto Estates Grounds. "Well, that was fun," Oliver said following the game. Bob Oliver singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit a three-run triple in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th and hit an RBI double in the 6th. For the season Oliver is batting .203 with 83 hits and 1 home run. He has scored 35 times and batted in 50. |   |
