 | Tuatara Dominate, Sweep League Championship Series Monday, September 12th, 2005 The Auckland Tuatara had all facets of their game going and have swept the San Francisco Seals in the League Championship Series. Auckland now heads off to the World Series, after wrapping up the series with a 9-1 win. Darryl Motley was named MVP, as he put up a .389 batting average, with a .421 on-base percentage. He had 4 home runs, drove in 10 RBI and scored 5 runs. The Auckland Tuatara don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Portland Sea Dogs - Harrisburg Senators series. Harrisburg leads the series 3 games to 2. The World Series schedule will be announced after the League Championship Series finishes. |   |
