At the age of 36, the Auckland Tuatara star was at the top of his game all season long and has won the 2005 ABBA 2A Most Valuable Player Award.
The veteran captured the award with a .307 batting average and a .410 on-base percentage this year. In 132 games he piled up 155 hits, 37 doubles, 5 triples, 13 home runs, 90 RBIs and 107 runs scored.
