Senators Lose to Bears, 11-1
The Milwaukee Bears beat the Washington Senators, 11-1, at RFK Stadium. The win was due in part to center fielder Jim Edmonds, who hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. With the victory, the Bears upped their record to 82-59.

Toby Harrah, the 26-year old shortstop , had a direct impact on the outcome. Harrah contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the fourth inning to put Milwaukee up, 3-0.

"I just tried to make good contact," said Harrah.
