Hernandez's Treatment Not Going Well, Suffers Setback
Saturday, August 13th, 2005
The Los Angeles Angels will have to do without closer Felix Hernandez even longer than expected. Team doctors say that Hernandez's recovery from a strained oblique has not gone well and more time will be needed to treat it successfully. The Angels trainer indicated it would be at least one week before they would consider activating Hernandez.

To date Hernandez has 17 saves with a 6-8 season record and a 2.91 ERA. He also has made 38 relief appearances, thrown 55.2 innings and struck out 47.
