For his brilliant performance this season he was named the Junior Circuit Robert Moses Grove Award winner today.
He started 40 games, running up a 21-13 record and a 2.81 ERA. Overall held opponents to a .207 average while striking out 236, walking 106 and allowing 249 hits in 333 innings of work.
