Carlos Quintana of the Sydney Blue Sox had a fine season this year and today he accepted the Most Valuable Player Award for 2005.

The 25-year-old first baseman put up a .357 average and a .464 on-base percentage, piling up 178 hits, 19 doubles, 2 triples, 25 home runs, 107 RBIs and 101 runs scored.

He received 15 first place votes out of a possible 16. Tommy Griffith of the Delta Theta Phi Keggers finished second in voting with 1 first place vote, while Guillermo Heredia of the Sydney Blue Sox finished third.
